AIDS WALK San Francisco 2008
Team FHF Raises Thousands for “Don’t Turn Your Back On AIDS” awareness through art program.
The Flowers Heritage Foundation (FHF) would like to thank everyone who contributed their time and effort to our second annual AIDS Walk SF team! With over 25,000 participants, this year’s walk raised $4.5 million. The FHF team alone raised more than $3,545 through the generous support of our board members, volunteers and 17 walkers.
The number of Bay Area HIV/AIDS service organizations benefiting from the 2008 AIDS Walk expanded from 42 to more than 50, and the Community Partnership Program (CPP) teams nearly doubled from 15 to 28.
We value your continued support towards ending AIDS and AIDS apathy and we hope to make AIDS Walk SF an FHF tradition!

July 20, 2008. Team FHF embarked on the 10-kilometer (6.2 mile)
walk-a-thon through Golden Gate Park. It was the first "Green" walk
to save the environment by commiting to reduce waste by 80%
